January 10, 2016 at 11:03 pm #740304You’re welcome!
February 17, 2016 at 8:35 pm #800849I have Cornerstone Version 1.1.3 and this still does not appear to be fixed..
I had to revert to a older revision ( outside of cornerstone Obviously) and when I did this and went back into cornerstone I got a blank page.it also told me any revisions outside of cornerstone would not take place.
Please provide an urgent fix
February 18, 2016 at 1:39 am #801229Hi there,
It’s still currently on our list. There is a known but in which the content revision and post_meta revision isn’t synching. But, restoring backward should work okay, just don’t restore it back and forth.
Your revision content is probably gone due to that process. And the only way to retrieve is to restore your database. There is also 3rd party integration that can mess with revision, some may disable them, some may edit them.
I can’t provide a temporary fix yet, but we’ll surely roll it out when it’s available.
Thanks.
February 18, 2016 at 2:07 am #801260no all i did was restore back to an earlier page revision and went into cornerstone and it was all gone..
Sux really as this is a feature many rely on and we can not use it…if you can not fix it then there should be some big warnings somewhere… I see so many of your members have lost a lot of work because of this
February 18, 2016 at 9:15 am #801771Hi there,
Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your feedback. For your future reference, you could keep the backup of pages by saving as template. To do this :
1. Click on Templates on your Cornerstone editor – http://prntscr.com/8rlr3k
2. Click Save to save the page as template – http://prntscr.com/8rlreo
3. Click Upload and upload the downloaded template to another page/site you want to use the page.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!
