In Ethos, when using a slider in my posts instead of a featured image, it shows up on the posts page with this message:
/****************************************** – PREPARE PLACEHOLDER FOR SLIDER – ******************************************/ var setREVStartSize = function() { var tpopt = new Object(); tpopt.startwidth = 1200; tpopt.startheight = 800; tpopt.container = jQuery(‘#rev_slider_6_1’); tpopt.fullScreen = “off”; …
I am sure it’s something very simple that I’m missing, but I can’t seem to find an option within the revolution slider, the post itself, nor the posts page to set a placeholder image for the slider.
Where do I find this?
September 7, 2014 at 11:13 pm #100464Oh Goodness. I answered my own question. I had the post type set to “standard” when it needed to be set to “gallery”. Within the “gallery” post I can set a featured image which shows up on the posts page, but doesn’t trump the gallery slider on the post itself. Relief!

Please give us the URL of your post so we could see the problem. But before that, please ensure you’ve updated X and the plugins and temporarily disable third party plugins.
Thanks.
