tblasParticipantMy website is not responsive – no pics and latin text in smaller views like cellphone, tablets or half screen. No idea what I have done wrong – I used integrity 6 – not my first website with x-theme but the first time with this problem.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
This demo comes with sections that are hidden on mobile and portrait tables, and sections that are hidden on desktop and laptop.
That is why there are sections you cant see in Cornerstone that appear on mobile and also sections that appear on desktop but disappear on mobile.
To fix that you need first to use Cornerstone Screensize View Options, so you can edit your site as on mobile and delete this sectiosn or rows which are hidden for desktop…
Please see image 1
2- Get your site back to desktop size and turn off the hidden based on visibility options you have now.
Make sure no device is selected.
Please see image 2
Hope it helps

tblasParticipantHi – I am sure this will work out perfectly if I do as you told . but – you forgot to tell me, where I find this “layout” section, which is shown on the pic – and I tried very hard to find it…
thx Thomas

FriechModeratorHi Thomas,
I’m not sure what do you mean by “layout” section.
In Cornerstone please view the page in small or extra small preview, so you can actually see the sections/rows that is intended for mobile screen.
This kind of layout is made possible by the Hide Base on Screen Width feature of the section and rows.
Thanks.

tblasParticipantHi – I mean exactly that, what I see on the pic – I tried everywhere to find it – see attachement – thx for helping 🙂

tblasParticipantHi – thx – I found it and it works – I can see pics a.s.o. in smaller views too – but only the pics and text I changed – as far as I can see, I have to do this with every single pic, text, a.s.o. on every single page of the website. This is a horror function – or better disfunction! And I see absolutely no reason, why this is integrated and automatically activated for the 2 smallest views

tblasParticipantI edited like this some smaller pages – I see now every pic and text – but on top I see additional content in latin and empty pics, which are not even on the website – try it with http://beonrise.com/das-backoffice/
what`s that???February 18, 2017 at 4:55 am #1376135
ChristopherModeratorHi there,
You don’t have to use this option, simply click on mobile icon to check your site on smaller devices, you can remove those section and make the other row visible on all devices by disabling visibility options.
but on top I see additional content in latin and empty pics, which are not even on the website
Please provide us with screen shot.
Thanks.

tblasParticipantHi – screenshot attached – alternatively you can just check this page – just make it smaller http://beonrise.com/das-backoffice/
what do you mean by telling I do not have to use this option? I made a website with x-theme and the disabled smaller views are automatically there – and I did not even knew that something like this is existing

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
If you want to remove those rows with dummy content, please provide us with login credentials so we can take a closer look.
Thanks.

tblasParticipantlogin credentials in an open forum? your email please if you want to take a closer look 🙂
it`s not difficult to get rid of this dummy content – I have to go to a smaller view with cornerstone and delete it – but to be honest – I never had difficulties like this with a theme – the need of deactivation of useless preset functions like above – controlling every single page in every view – deleting of dummy content in some views – and maybe other things I do not even think of today…

tblasParticipantnext problem on the way – I deleted the dummy content from this page: http://beonrise.com/das-backoffice/ – its away now – but on its place there is now empty space called “column” – I can erase the content of this column – but I find no way to delete the column itself – how to do this?

ChristopherModeratorHi,
Glad to see that you’ve already figured it out.
