Hi,
I am completely new to WordPress, along with the X theme.
I was playing around trying to get used to the WP dashboard and tried to load a demo from X theme.
I am trying to get back the default one that is loaded up for the first time on WP.
I found this article: https://community.theme.co/forums/topic/how-to-remove-integrity-demo-content/
|”Hey Larry,
no we are not laughing, everyone starts somewhen so that’s no problem we are here to help. You have to go to the Demo Content section here in the member area. The go to the second section called Customizer Settings and download there the Integrity 1 settings. Then log into your WordPress admin panel and hover over Customizer. You then will see a dropdown called “Import” select that and then upload the unzipped file called integrity-01.json. this should do the trick”.|
I am not finding this file to download. I don’t know if I am completely blind, or it has been relocated. Is this suggestion still the answer to fix it, or have I already gone too far?
Also from that link I posted:
|”Hey Larry,
what demo content are you talking about? After you have imported the integrity-01.json file (that’s the XCS file) you just have to go to Pages, Posts and Portfolio and delete all the entries then your site will be completely empty and reseted to the start point”.|
I already completed this step and as of right now there isn’t any content located in any of those.
I hope this didn’t confuse you, and any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,

That is a very old thread dated way back 2014. X now has a demo install interface (see https://community.theme.co/kb/demo-content/) and a reset option you can use in WP Admin > Addons. See the Customizer Reset in https://community.theme.co/kb/customizer-manager/ for more details.
Hope that helps. 🙂

Now however, it won’t allow me to change the background color or add in an image background. Some changes I try and make aren’t showing up at all.
Does it mess with things if I delete the theme and reload it from the original download?
July 14, 2016 at 1:59 pm #1087273Hi There,
It wouldn´t be a problem to delete X Theme and re-install it.
But just before you do that would you mind clarifying topic by topic what difficulties you are encountering during the process?
Also please provide us your WP Admin credentials so we can take a look on your setup and give you recommendations.
Thanks
Joao
