Hey so recently I changed my permalinks from ‘custom structure’ to post name, and immediately afterwards I received a message that said ‘Remove write access on web.config file now’. The reason I made the switch was because every permalink had ‘index.php’ in it (which I’ve been told is a result of going with ASP hosting. After reading a few forums I contacted them directly and they told me that my website could develop issues by ignoring this message. However soon afterwards the message went away, and as far as I can tell I’ve been having no issues with my website.
Therefore I wanted to know if you think that I should go back to the custom structure as it were when I first installed the X Theme (it was the Agency Demo), or do you think I’m okay to leave it. Also keep in mind that my website is already backed up.
Thanks a lot, you guys are the best.

It is best if you can contact your hosting provider about this issue. They can help you better with this.
Always,
