April 8, 2014 at 7:30 am #31020Hi everyone,
I’ve been experiencing the same problem plus the fact that when clicking on an image it just opens the image in the same window as the site, without any possibility to navigate to the other ones… http://pantarei.wpengine.com/my-portfolio/prova-slider-copertine/
I’m getting mad…
SilviaApril 8, 2014 at 1:45 pm #31222Hey Silvia,
We’re sorry that you are having a hard time with X. The link you’ve posted returns a “page not found” error. Please give us the correct link.
Thanks.
April 9, 2014 at 3:48 pm #31738Dear support, don’t get me wrong: I love X and I’m actually enjoying it! It’s just that I’ve started using wordpress 2 months ago (and althought I know something about html, wordpress is much more) and themes and plugins are completely new to me! So I think it’s normal to have problems, also because often I don’t immediately understand what the causes are.
That said, the correct link (I deleted that item and tried again) is http://pantarei.wpengine.com/pantarei-portfolio/test-gallery/
I’m getting support about portfolios also on a thread I opened, so before continuing here, let’s see if the issue gets solved there!
Thank you really very much for your understanding and for a theme I do love!
SilviaApril 9, 2014 at 8:38 pm #31836Hi!
We’re really happy that you’re enjoying the theme. If you don’t mind, please review the documentation about the lightbox functionality as it will surely help you with your current situation. Please refer to this link: http://theme.co/x/member/kb/shortcode-walkthrough-lightbox/
Cheers!
April 10, 2014 at 3:43 am #31946I will surely watch the tutorial again! Just a preliminary question: in the video it shows how to add a lightbox to a PAGE, and it seems really easy! But what if I want to add it to a post or portfolio item? In that case, I had to write all the code myself because the only working options were using the normal Visual/Text entry panel: the “drag and drop” “add element” Visual Composer didn’t show up…
Cheers!
SilviaApril 10, 2014 at 10:31 am #32060Hey Silvia,
You can enable Visual Composer for post and portfolio. Please go to Settings > Visual Composer and tick the content types you want to enable.
Hope that helps.
April 10, 2014 at 10:58 am #32083YESSS! Thanks! I also enabled all the shortcodes…was it a good idea?
Cheers
SilviaApril 10, 2014 at 1:46 pm #32172Hi Silvia,
Yes it is:), and that will give you more options.
Cheers and enjoy!
March 17, 2016 at 8:49 am #841725Hi,
I am also having a white border / padding between the portfolio items which I want to decrease. Is there a custom css for this?
I tried adding the code above to my custom css – but it did not change anything.
Here’s the page: http://natalie-weinmann.com/selected_works/Thanks a lot. Best, Natalie
(sorry, I also posted this message on another discussion – but figured this might be more similar)
March 17, 2016 at 1:44 pm #841952Hi Natalie,
I think you got the reply on another thread. Kindly don’t do this as it will just increase the forum load time and remember many of our users wait to get our reply to get their work done.
We always encourage to open new thread for your problems instead of hacking others thread. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.
Hope this makes sense.
