So to summerize for the future:

1. Install the child X-theme and activate it.
2. Install the cornerstone plugin.
3. Go to Appearence -> Editor -> X-Child-Theme -> functions.php
4. Paste the following code.

Yes that’s the correct solution if you want to completely remove post meta data and not just hide it. 🙂
