Hi,

My site is http://www.daveandangiezambranol.com , I am using wordpress 3.9.1, x theme 2.0.0, shortcode plugin 2.3.1

I can’t get the thumbnails to display in the “recent posts” widget. I have uploaded a featured image to my posts, have done “force regenerate thumbnails” in the tools menu, and have checked “Enable cropped feature images” under the portfolio tab in the customizer.

I’ve also scoured to forum and couldn’t find an answer.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, I don’t know what else to do.

I think this is the same issue. It’s not currently possible with X-Theme

Thanks Rylaan, but that’s a different issue. The thumbnails show in the recent posts widget in the xtheme live demos, so it looks like this feature is supported.

Thanks for writing in!
Unfortunately, this is still not available in theme X, you could achieve it with some custom code.
I will totally add this to the featured request though.
But i can’t assure you with when this feature might be integrated in X, by that time, you might want to look at this plugin that will help you to achieve that
