I have a weather page on two of my sites that utilizes the “recent posts” shortcode to show the current forecast. For the past few months, users have been experiencing issues with that shortcode not updating each day… Sometimes it will show a post from months ago (even if the post has been deleted). Usually through a process of refreshing page or emptying the browsers cache, the problem will go away, but it seems like this was never a problem until recently… Thoughts?

    Here are the pages:

    Hi There,

I can’t replicate the issue on my end. But base on your post above it seems a caching related. Since your page is weather forecast that is updated from time to time, put an alert or something alike above your page to remind viewers to reload the page, to make sure that their browser is not loading the caching version.

    Thanks,
