1.06Hi Staff,
I’m having an issue where I’m building my clients homepage in Cornerstone, and while the recent post sections appears fine in Cornerstone, it displays completely wrong on the homepage. Also, on different computers, certain elements fail to show up completely.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ModeratorHi There,
Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain of issue, If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification and provide us login credential in private reply so we can take a closer look on Cornerstone’s preview. We’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
In the mean time please do a testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Cheers!

ModeratorHello There,
We did test your site and confirmed that there is a problem with the recent post widget. Would you mind providing us the ftp login credentials so we can take a closer look and check some files in Cornerstone plugin? This is to ensure that we can provide you with a tailored answer to your situation. Once you have provided us with your credentials, we will be happy to assist you with everything.
To do this, you can make a post with the following info:
– FTP Hostname
– FTP Username
– FTP PasswordDon’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.
For the meantime, you could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.
Thank you.

ModeratorHi there,
Do you have a customized cornerstone recent posts shortcode? I can’t replicate this on my end, but no matter what I try, it wont work at your site.
Before we continue, please backup your site then deactivate all other plugin. Then delete your cornerstone through FTP, and install it again at Admin > Addons > Extensions.
Then let us know when you’re done.
Thanks!

ParticipantNo, everything should be out of the box with Cornerstone, I’ve never customized. I’ll try your suggestion and report back.

ModeratorHi there,
I have just checked on your pages and the recent post widget isn’t there anymore. Please place it back so that we could check it further.

ModeratorHey there,
This is because you have sticky posts. This is a known issue and is currently being addressed and the solution might be included in the next release. For the meantime, please don’t use sticky posts.
Thanks.

ModeratorHello There,
Thank you for the test page. Another staff here. Unfortunately, I cannot duplicate the problem too on my local. Would you mind deactivating plugins and don’t activate again yet so we can check? Please also purge cache before deactivating your caching plugin.
