I have a problem in that the social icons cannot be seen and the read more links on the posts index page cannot be seen, until I hover over where they should be. When I move away from them, they disappear again.

WP version 4.4.2
X version 4.4.1
Cornerstone 1.2.2.

The site is a localhost site.

Can you help me sort this out?

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! It sounds your icons and read more link has the same color as your background. You can add this under Custom > CSS in the Customizer.

.x-social-global a, .excerpt a {color: blue;}
.x-social-global a:hover, .excerpt a:hover {color: red;}

thanks, it turned out the latest upgrade had wiped the settings in the customizer for the colors, all sorted now.

However I do wish that with this would stop happening. Every other upgrade seems to wipe one or other setting and it’s a pain to sort out it each time.

Hi Scott,

Thanks for updating. Before performing a update you should take backup of everything including the Customizer settings. It would be very handy to have the backup of your entire Customizer. In case you miss any settings, just restore the backup and all should be set as same before.

You can do this from X Addons > Customizer Manager.
