Hi guys!

On my blog page, the “read more” is not showing for some blog posts

This is funny, because all blog posts are created with cornerstone and do contain some text.

Any idea how to fix this?

Would you mind clearing all caches and then deactivate all third party plugins so we know there’s nothing interfering with the excerpt? Also, please give us access to your WordPress admin.

I cleared all caches already. You have a admin access to to the site. Why is that not enough, please elaborate

Hi there,

Please manually add your text excerpt on your post. You can do that by editing your post and head on “Screen Option” on top of the post and toggled on the “Excerpt” option. Then scroll down until you find the excerpt section and add your text.

Even if your post has text but they are wrapped with shortcodes or HTML, they will be stripped out by WordPress to generate excerpt, and since your post content are primarily wrapped in cornerstone, it will be empty once WordPress filtered it all.
