    Hi There,

    Please check Protect Test sample page. It is working there.
    For shortcode please use this :[x_protect] … [/x_protect]

    Thanks. That works.

    I’m experience a new problem. My homepage isn’t saving in Cornerstone. I hit save and get a success message, but no changes are actually saved. (And if I hit the home button afterwards, it says “You have not saved any changes!”)

    Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)

    You can find the latest version numbers here: (http://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.

    If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

    It says that the theme is up to date in the dashboard. (And “Yay! Automatic updates are up and running” in product validation.) But if I go to Appearance>>Themes, it says Version: 4.2.2.
    Help! (Credentials are in post above.)

    Hi there,

    You’re still using x shortcodes plugin, please disable this plugin and visit X Addons page to install cornerstone automatically.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for updating. You are not using the latest version of X and Cornerstone so it might causing the issue.

    There was a known bug on X 4.3.0 with WordPress 4.5 regarding the automatic update. If you are using that version or earlier, kindly update the theme manually for now. You can download the installable theme from themeforest or here – https://community.theme.co/dashboard/

    You can just place the extracted theme folder x under wp-content/themes/ folder using FTP replacing the old theme folder.

    Also please follow the installation video to understand it better – https://community.theme.co/kb/theme-installation/

    After updating theme, everything should be fine and then update all other plugins.
