Hi,
I have added product categories in Menus in WordPress but they are not showing in the frontend on the site. I have attached screenshots. Why is this happening?
Please take a look. This is very important as I would like to create landing pages for these product categories.
Thank you.

Please page attention to menu names, you’ve added those sub menus to Men menu not in your primary menu, see the attachment.
Thanks.
February 13, 2017 at 9:13 am #1369003Great thanks! I have added the same categories in my primary menu into Men as well. So they reflect each other.
This isn’t going to create any conflicts? So, when visitors visit the shop/homepage they will see the primary menu with the Men categories.
And when they visit the Men category they will see the same menu categories except from the Men menu?
Thank you.
February 13, 2017 at 11:21 pm #1369990Hi There,
There will be no conflict at all. The Homepage menu which was set as the Primary Menu will be the menu for all of your pages including the category pages. Unless you customize/setup the page to show a different menu.
I think you’re under impression that the category pages is showing a different menu, but its not its actually showing the same menu as your homepage and other pages which is the Homepage menu.
Hope this shed some lights.
Cheers!
February 14, 2017 at 7:49 am #1370423Hi,
I have added more product categories in the Primary and Womens Menus after creating Product Categories Emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani, Marni and Armani Collezioni but they are not showing. They are under Womens and Designer parent in Menus.
Category Paul Smith is also not showing in Womens – Designer.
They are not showing under their parent page/category named Designers, only in the homepage and Womens menus.
For Mens menu, the product category Paul Smith is not showing in Mens – Designers page/category but is in the Homepage and Mens menus.
The product categories show in WP in the menus trees but not on the site.
Please could you check.
Thank you.

It is not showing because the space is limited. It overflows from the browser. But the menu is there further down. I would recommend to setup megamenu instead:https://community.theme.co/kb/how-to-setup-megamenus/. That way we can group subcategories into columns thus will stop long submenus.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for updating in! It sounds like you might be having an issue with a third party plugin, Max Mega Menu. Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Thank you for your understanding.

Max Mega Menu is a third party plugin and X Mega menu is a built-in X mega menu. That is only a simple mega menu though. If you need images and more options, please use Ubermenu plugin which comes bundled with X. See https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-ubermenu/ for more details and usage instructions.
Thanks.
February 16, 2017 at 8:45 am #1373574Hi,
But you’re not answering my original questions again. What about showing the submenus/product categories in my Designer Mens and Womens product categories? Can you please answer this question. Kindly read the thread as these are apparently there but can’t be seen.
Also what about the cart options as mentioned on February 15, 2017 at 12:32 pm.
“Also it there a way to align my cart to the same horizontal line as my other Menu items and reassign the pill shape around it that was there before activating Megamenus? At the moment the cart is now at the bottom right of the menu.
I have tried the alignment settings and padding settings but the cart stays below the other menu items. I have attached a screenshot.”
Or is the done in Ubermenu?
Thank you.
February 16, 2017 at 6:49 pm #1374338Hello There,
Thanks for updating in!
What about showing the submenus/product categories in my Designer Mens and Womens product categories?
– Do you want to display product sub categories and products as well? Please go to WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Display > Default Category Display and select “Show subcategories and products”.
Also it there a way to align my cart to the same horizontal line as my other Menu items and reassign the pill shape around it that was there before activating Megamenus? At the moment the cart is now at the bottom right of the menu.
– If you disable Max Mega Menu plugin, the cart will be in line with the primary menu in the navbar. We would loved to know if this has work for you. Thank you.
February 16, 2017 at 7:29 pm #1374379Hi,
Let me clarify, in the Designers Product Categories for both Men and Women not all the sub product categories are showing. I dont eant to show products in there, just sub categories. These two categories do not reflect what is in the Primary and Men and Women Menus. Some are sub categories are missing.
Please read the reply a few days ago from you that says they are there but are not showing because of space constraints.
How to show them all? If you look in my Menus then look in the Designers product categories for both Men and Women you will see they dont match.
My login details have been sent previously in a private reply on Feb 14.
The Cart problem has been fixed with Ubermenus.
Thank you.
