Hello,
I sat on X Theme 4.0.X for a long time, reluctant to update because I didn’t want to screw up anything. I’m not a professional developer, so I’m just getting by with my own Google-fu and this awesome community’s help.
Anyway, I finally managed to update the theme by manually uploading it, deleting the current install and replacing it with 4.4.2. Well, none of the plugins would update. Kept getting “Update package unavailable” errors whenever I’d try to update Cornerstone, Custom 404, Visual Composer, Revolution Slider, or Video Lock.
I was advised by several people in the Facebook group to deactivate and delete all the trouble plugins and reinstall via the Add-ons menu. Well, after doing that, when I click install on any plugin, it says “Error Encountered” and offers a “details” link, which then says a similar thing as before – “No package provided”.
I’m at a total loss as to where I get these plugins. They don’t appear to be in the update file I downloaded, and I can’t find them anywhere else. My theme is validated and says everything is A okay. I’m at a total loss as to what I did wrong.
I appreciate any assistance.

X Theme is 4.4.2
Cornerstone was 1.0.2, but I deleted it.

Website is http://www.processpictures.comSo I read through the update instructions again and saw the details on manually installing Cornerstone. I attempted, and it failed, saying the destination folder already exists on my server. So I’m gonna go figure out how to delete those old folders for all the plugins I deleted, and then attempt everything again.
Don’t worry, I backed up everything on the server before even starting the update process, so if I’m totally destroying everything, it’s all recoverable.
I successfully installed Cornerstone 1.2.4 after deleting the files left on the server. But I still can’t install any of the bundled plugins, and am at a total loss as to why.
Was directed to a thread about this by someone in the Facebook community. Advised to revoke validation and reassign. Did that, but the site isn’t being revalidated, so obviously something is wrong somewhere.
This is really frustrating. My site is now back to being broken.
