Hi !
I have a problem with the theme Skeleton from Simplethemes.
The Header (the template) of the original site stay there. How i can eraser the header and the background ? I want to make only a fullscreen slider page for the home page.
I have only three templates pages options (see the image) : Dafault template, Article template perso and Designer page, the result is always the same. I tried to make a new template page (blank-conatiener) but it doesn’t work.
Thanks for your understanding

Does your theme support other page templates? Cornerstone can build content within the content area provided by the theme, but how that content area is setup is fully determined by the theme. You may want to reach out to the theme designer to see if they support a layout that doesn’t include a header. A “blank container” template like what you’re familiar with is something provided by X.
April 11, 2016 at 9:48 am #876538HI,
No, i think the theme doesn’t support other page templates. I tried.
The other problem, this a free theme, there isn’t technical support.
Thanks anyway

April 12, 2016 at 3:56 am #877916Hi there @chilin,
Thanks for writing back. I’ve taken a look and this is a limitation of the theme being used rather than Cornerstone.
There’s no page template in the Skeleton theme that has the option to remove the header, only the sidebar and page title, is there perhaps another theme you could use?
One option would be hiding the header with css on a specific page, which we’d be happy to help with, or you could create a new page template in the theme, by copying the code from one of the other page templates and then just removing the code that displays the header in that template.
We’re here to help. 🙂
Thanks!
April 12, 2016 at 11:22 am #878578Hello,
Yes there’s no page that doesn’t include a header in Skeleton.
I was thinking if not, the possibility to use the X theme only for the home page or a kind of the splash page because my client doesn’t want to change the rest of the site.
Do you know if that is possible ? two themes for one site in wordpress ?
Can you help me with that ?I’m going to try the other option too, hiding the header with css on a specific page.
Thanks again
HectorApril 13, 2016 at 12:55 am #879440Hey Hector,
We’re sorry but that is not possible. WordPress only allows 1 active theme.
Thanks.
