Hello,
I have a problem with sidebars.
My url is: picotera.co
wordpress version 3.9.1
Theme version (latest I think..)
shortcode plugin version: 2.3.3I followed the installation videos and in my parent theme (which is not activated currently) the sidebars don’t show up at all. When I adjust the sidebar preferences in the customizer nothing happens with sidebars.
In the child theme (i’ve currently installed integrity-light) the sidebar shows up * duplicated side-by-side (as you will see if you visit picotera.co) and no matter what option I choose in customizer the sidebar will not change or go away. I tried using different child themes and it’s all like that. Several attempts were made to remove the theme inside the file manager of wordpress and re-install parent and child theme and that didn’t work.
What is the solution for this?
Thank you,

In this case, we will need to take a look at your setup in the back-end. Please give us access to your WordPress admin.
Thanks.

Please deactivate the cache plugin while developing a site. Now, remove X theme & it’s child themes from your site. Download the latest version from here: http://theme.co/x/member/dashboard/ & update it via FTP
If you can’t do it yourself then please share your FTP login info here as private reply.

I’ve deleted the X package folder from your serve (not 100% as iPage not allowing), please have only one theme folder for X parent theme, multiple folders of same will cause numerous issues.
Check your site now, it’s now showing sidebar even with child theme. The customizer is showing perfect too.
Let me know what else you need from us.
Have a nice day, Cheers!

The problem was fixed for a short period, and now there are three sidebars!! Will you please use the same FTP info again to fix the issue. I wish I knew what was causing the problem so that it doesn’t get triggered again.
Thank you,
KamyarJuly 17, 2014 at 5:21 pm #70347Hello,
I forgot to mention the problem with the sidebars is on the child theme only this time.
Thanks very much!
July 17, 2014 at 6:46 pm #70385Hi Kaymar,
I just activated child theme in your site, now sidebars are showing perfect.
Please go to Dashboard > Appearances > Widgets > Now, drop any widget to Sidebar Widget area to show them.
July 17, 2014 at 10:53 pm #70458Hello,
The site loads well on Safari, but not on Chrome and Internet Explorer (I haven’t tried firefox yet…) it’s the same sidebar issues, and also site title not showing. How do I fix the way it loads on browsers other than safari?
Thank you,
KamyarJuly 18, 2014 at 6:26 pm #70763Hi Kamyar,
No issue with browser or X theme, ask you webhost iPage to disable server side cache for your site. Your site is getting older cache because of server caching service, so even after updating it’s showing old layout, content etc.
Even I tried to deleted the unwanted x_package folder from wp-content/themes folder & it’s not deleting, so please your webhost to clear the cache for you site from their server.
Hope this helps, Cheers!
