I uploaded “Visual Composer” plugin from the archive which I downloaded from envato website, among with x theme files.
However, when I enable the plugin, It says my plugin is not activated. Theme-X documentation says I can try uploading to FTP but I already did it that way. When I click “activate product” on the plugin page, it forwarded me to the page http://support.wpbakery.com/licenses and showing the following error:
What can I do to activate visual composer on my website? any help wil be appreciated.
Thanks
No licenses foundIt seems that you do not have any valid license for Visual Composer. What does it mean? It may be so that you got Visual Composer by purchasing WordPress theme which does not grant you with direct license for Visual Composer. Why do I need direct license? Direct product license unlocks several benefits:
Access official customer support
(otherwise managed by your theme author)Update Visual Composer directly
Use Visual Composer with any theme
(not just the one you got it with)Manage your licenses at Client Portal
If you have just purchased your direct Visual Composer license please hold on bit – it seems Envato API haven’t provided record on your purchase yet. Please try again in a while.
February 26, 2016 at 7:26 am #813445it looks I was confused with the error messages for two plugins:
The instruction of “ftp upload” is related to “Slider Revolution” which is also shown as not activated.February 26, 2016 at 3:49 pm #813995Hi There,
Thanks for writing in! Since the VC is bundled with the X|Theme, you don’t need to register. The plugin functions 100% without license registration.
Would you mind re-installing the VC, but this time under Addons > Extensions.
If this does not work, please provide us login credentials in private reply so we can take a closer look.
Hope it helps, Cheers!
