venyaParticipantHello,
I recently had the same issue and contacted support, but they were unable to reproduce the issue.
I then decided to try my site from a different computer and the problem wasn’t there. I thought it went away, but just checked my site again and it’s back?!The first time a portfolio is hovered on the image snaps to a tiny version of itself and then back.
I took a screen recording to show you… The recorder frame rate is way slow, so only managed to catch it happening once (second row, second from the left). It real time it happens extremely fast…

JackKeymasterHi there Ben,
Thanks for writing in, could you post a link to your site please so I can take a look? π

imbrettjacksonParticipantHi Rue,
1) I cleared my browsers cache and the problem persists in both Firefox standard and Firefox Private browsing. I’d attach a new screencast, but it would look identical to the one attached earlier in this thread. How can I fix this bug?
2) Thanks for JS correction, but now the code doesn’t work – the menu appears, and then animates closed instead of not appearing when the page loads. Ideas?
Thanks!

imbrettjacksonParticipantAnd is there a way to be alerted by email when I get a new response to this thread?

imbrettjacksonParticipantThanks for the info, Venya. Now if I can just get my portfolio rollovers to work, I’ll be sitting pretty!

RadModeratorHi guys,
Looks like I have some little confusion with the issues, not sure if I can handle this at once. Let’s discuss the hover issue before anything else π
I saw the video recording, but I’m not getting such hover issue on my end. I tried Chrome and Firefox in their latest versions. What’s your device, OS, and version you’re testing it on?
Thanks!
April 14, 2016 at 11:39 pm #883616
imbrettjacksonParticipantThank YOU, Rad.
I’m on an iMac running OS X Yosemite 10.10.5, with Firefox 45.0.2. I updated WordPress and X Theme, as well as all the plugins this morning.
Also – the hover issue is the only remaining issue. If you could handle that, I’d be much obliged.

RadModeratorHi there,
Could it be related to OS? I’m on El Capitan, latest Chrome and Firefox and I can’t replicate the hover issue. Are you guys really have the same issue? Would it okay if I can get the most recent screen recording of the issue?
I checked @Venya’s site and I can see the item’s zoom effect upon hover with no issue similar to the provided screen record. But with your site, there is no zoom effect at all, it’s just opacity effect. Is it the issue in your case?
Thanks and let me know.

imbrettjacksonParticipantSure! Thanks, Rad!

RadModeratorHi there,
Thanks for the video, I see it clear π
Though, I can’t really reproduce that hover issue in any browser on my end. The only difference that I can see is OS version. Unfortunately, I just upgraded to El Capitan from Yosemite. I’ll see if I can find a device to test on that still on Yosemite.
Thanks!

imbrettjacksonParticipantCan I get some resolution on that JS correction from above that created new problems? The new code doesnβt work β the portfolio menu appears, and then animates closed instead of not appearing when the page loads. Ideas?
Thanks!
And, of course, the rollovers are still jumping. (I’m unclear if this is being investigated.)
