artisticdogParticipantHI,
When I click on View Attachment Page it takes me to this link: http://dna-paints.com/portfolio-item/hewlett-customs/hc-01/
There is no option to delete permanently next to the update button.I did manage to delete the file completely via the media library. 🙁

LelyModeratorHi There,
See this:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbeniy6TIx for the Delete Permanently link
March 2, 2017 at 6:50 pm #1392716
artisticdogParticipantOk, this also deletes the images from my media library, correct?
So if I wish to use again I must re-upload taking note of the file name/numbering?March 2, 2017 at 6:56 pm #1392717
artisticdogParticipantThis seems like a very long way around to delete these images.
Why can’t I just permanently delete them from the Media Library?March 2, 2017 at 6:58 pm #1392719
artisticdogParticipantIf in the future I get a new image that I want as the feature image, must I delete all images again and then re-upload all images making sure the preferred feature image is named appropriately to be no. 1?

artisticdogParticipantHi again,
I followed all of your instructions and deleted all of the images for Hewlett Customs.
I then went into the item to re-upload all of the images and all of the image source text is still there! See attached screenshot.
Shouldn’t all of this now be gone?
Do I also have to remove this code manually after detaching/deleting all images and then re-upload images?A better way?
Would a better way of doing all of this be to do the following:
1. Delete all images from Media Library
2. Delete Portfolio Item
3. Recreate Portfolio ItemPlease let me know what you think.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for updating in! One thing to consider is that when you delete something in WordPress, it will go the the bin. You must clear the bin first before uploading and recreating anything.
Hope this helps.

artisticdogParticipantOk so a better and faster way would be?
1. Delete all images from Media Library
2. Delete Portfolio Item
3. Empty WordPress Bin
4. Recreate Portfolio ItemPlease let me know what you think.

NicoModeratorYes, that would be great. To make sure, you could also add removing site cache after emptying wordpress bin.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks.
