    Hi, I’m trying to get more items per page on my portfolio (http://jumpci.com/wordpress/httpjumpci-comwordpressportfolio-category/book-design-4/). How do I increase the number of portfolio items per page, there are currently 10 /page? thanks

    Hi Mieka,

    Thank you for writing in!

    You can increase the amount from Portfolio Settings > Posts Per Page in your portfolio edit page (see: http://prntscr.com/4llqsc)

    Thanks but I previously made them portfolio posts as per support’s suggestion. so does this mean they should all now be moved to posts, and is there an easy way to port them over? thanks

    The items will make effect on that specific Portfolio Page only.

    sorry, i’m not following? is there a way to increase the number of portfolio items on a page without making them all page posts? if there isn’t a way, then is there an easy way to turn portfolio items into page posts?

    Hi Mieka,

    I am confused with your query 😛

    Have you followed the suggestion here http://theme.co/x/member/forums/topic/portfolio-items-per-page/#post-102302 ? And it will be effective at your portfolio home page only. Not with any posts or page.

    For example,

    If you set your portfolio posts per page as 10, and if you have 20 portfolio items. Then 20 / 10 = 2 pages. So you can’t literally add new paging, it will still based at your current portfolio items count.

    Another example :

    200 portfolio items / 25 posts per page = 8 pages

    You can’t turn any post type like portfolio to another existing post type like post.

    I understand your suggestion however the portfolio was created not as pages but as portfolio items (portfolio>add new item) as per the Support’s direction a few months ago. Therefore I am wondering if its possible to increase the number of portfolio items listed to more than 10 which it is currently set at. Where can you reset the number of portfolio items visible when you click on a portfolio category? thanks

    Hi Mieka,

    Thank you for writing in!

    Portfolio item is a single item that is added to portfolio post type. The portfolio page where these items are appeared can be created from the pages.

    However would you mind providing us with your WordPress admin credentials so that I can setup a test portfolio page for you?

    Hi Mieka,

    Thank you for providing the login details.

    The number of portfolio items shown can be set in WP Dashboar > Settings > Reading > Blog pages show at most
    However it will also affect the number of post shown in your blog.
