Rue NelModeratorHello Cat,
Thanks for updating in! Just for future topics, self responding or bumping your post pushes it back in our Queue system so it takes longer to respond to.
#1] To remove the ‘Portfolio’ word title on the top of every Portfolio Item page, please add the following css code in the customizer, Appearance > Customize > Custom > Edit Global CSS
.single-x-portfolio .x-header-landmark { display: none; }#2] To get rid of the “Image” and the date in the portfolio items found the in the portfolio page, please add the following css code in the customizer, Appearance > Customize > Custom > Edit Global CSS
.x-portfolio .entry-cover-content span { opacity: 0; }#3] No it will not. If you install and activate any of the plugin, you will still need to create a grid that will display all the portfolio items and place that grid in a page that will serve as you portfolio page.
Hope this helps.

CatDouglasParticipantThank you, ok thanks for the tip. I’ll try to keep it to one message but as I work on it, I see other challenges, in future I’ll edit the one post instead.
1a# There were two messages missed above: the shaking that occurs on the home page, is it caused by the animated gif? http://6dd.949.myftpupload.com/
1b# I’d like to have a visible portfolio sorter, not one that’s hidden in a drop down menu behind the box with a + in it:
This is mine (Renew 2) http://6dd.949.myftpupload.com/portfolio/
This is what I need, something more like this: http://demo.theme.co/agency/case-studies/3# I would like to change the portfolio item page title (in this case ‘Banks’s Brewery’, to be an h2 or h3, it’s too large right now: do I edit and add something like this in the CSS?: h1 class=”entry-title entry-title-portfolio”
4# Is it possible to edit the font or colour of the standard accordion?
5# I need to edit the spacing between elements and also line-height for sections on my home page, is there a guide somewhere about this? I know how to inspect items on a page to identify them.
6# How do I achieve a ‘Case Studies’ section like on this demo home page:
Thank you,

ChristopherModeratorHi there,
#1a Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
#1b,6 Each tack has its own layout, our scope of support doesn’t cover customization for mixing stacks, please switch to Ethos stack.
#3,4 Please add following code in Customize -> Custom -> Global CSS :
h1.entry-title.entry-title-portfolio { font-size: 15px; } a.x-accordion-toggle { color: red !IMPORTANT; font-size: 12px !important; }#5 Please check this link : https://community.theme.co/kb/css-class-index/
If you have any additional questions at this time we kindly ask that you open them up in a separate thread. The longer threads get in the forum, they become more difficult to support as they tend to drift off topic and they also make it troublesome for users trying to search for solutions. Keeping threads relevant to their original inquiry ensures that we can keep better track of what has been resolved and that users can more effectively find answers to similar issues they might be experiencing.
Hope it helps.

CatDouglasParticipantHi there,
Thank you for your support.
#1a To clarify – if you view the home page, do you not see a shaking effect, the page quickly and slightly scrolls up and down.
#2 If I switch to Ethos stack, will I lose my home page and customisations?
#3/4 Thank you.
#5 Thank you.Okay shall start a new thread for each type of query, but it will get hard for me to track as well. Hopefully I’m nearly there and won’t need much more support.

JoaoModeratorHi Cat,
I cannot replicate the issue.
Does that scrolling happens by itself?
What browser and device you are device you are using while experiencing the issue?
Thanks
March 15, 2017 at 3:35 am #1407710
CatDouglasParticipantI’m using Google Chrome on a desktop computer, and yes it does happen by itself. I hoped the video would show that I’m not scrolling when it jigs the type and page elements slightly up and down. Actually occasionally there is a ghost scroll up of about a 5th of a page height.

LelyModeratorHello Cat,
I can see why it is happening. It is because of the slider. Other slide doesn’t have image content. See this:http://screencast-o-matic.com/watch/cbeoo56BfK. When there’s no image content, the slider folds, and the content below it go up and then go down again when the slider slides again.
Hope this helps.

CatDouglasParticipantAh I see! Thank you for identifying the cause of the issue, I’m getting to that segment today.
