Hi there, I’m trying to setup the portfolio section in a gallery mode. What I want is to keep the filtering options with its categories and all, but have it run through a gallery mode with description of each image. Preferably displaying it in a lightbox setting.

My thinking is that this would be easier running it through the portfolio but maybe creating a gallery and finding a way to filter the gallery in a smooth sleek way as in the portfolio section ( hover, filtering transitions ,, moves smoothely, all that jazz )

I hope I’m being specific enough and I need help to be pointed out in the right direction.

Thanks for writing in.

It’ s quite tricky and requires custom development. Some users tried it before but with a lot of bugs since the structure is complex plus filtering. You could contact a developer for this kind of implementation.

How about essential grid or the grid?
