OZDstudioParticipantHello,
I would like to make a query for a portfolio item category and display a picture and the category at the top of a portfolio item. I have set up a child theme and already modified CONTENT-PORTFOLIO.PHP for other layout changes, but I couldn’t figure out how to make a query for the category.
I’m working locally so I’m unable to give site link.
Best

ChristianModeratorHey there,
Regretfully, this particular customization request is outside the scope of our support as this is not related to an issue with the theme and instead has to do with your customization of it. As such, you will need to investigate this particular issue on your own or seek help from a developer should you not feel comfortable making these changes yourself. If you have any further questions about the theme, we are more than happy to provide you with assistance on these inquiries.
Thank you for your understanding.

OZDstudioParticipantHello Christian,
I don’t seek any info on how to customize the theme, I just need to know what is the syntax for getting the portfolio category.
After digging in your forum, I did manage to find an answer.

ChristianModeratorSorry for the confusion. It sounds like you were requesting a customization. Please note that support covers getting setup, theme features, and bug fixes as stated in the sidebar. Theme customization is not part of support. We do go above and beyond this but it does not mean we could cater to every customization request especially custom programming.
Thanks.
