Okay Then. Please let us know.
Our support staff will be standing by and will response any inquiry you may have.May 5, 2016 at 4:49 pm #957758I have tried nearly every export setting known to man, and I’m still getting a weird aliasing of the png’s against the background. If you zoom into the pic, you’ll see in Deon’s hair that it’s all blocky. I don’t understand, because the actual image is perfect. It’s only when uploaded that it starts to look like that. Are there any resources for using transparent pngs on theme x? Thanks!
May 6, 2016 at 1:07 am #978217Hi there,
I can see the issue on the original uploaded image as well – http://www.guardiancheer.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Deon.png
It’s because the images are not properly edited to make transparent rather used magic tool tool to erase the background. Kindly use a good resolution image that was edited properly to remove background.
Hope this make sense.
Cheers!
May 7, 2016 at 3:41 am #979944I can assure you that it was. I masked out these people myself, and exported with no matte as well (24bit/8bit, 128/256, various aliasing algos). The resolution is also originally 6000 x 4000px, which is *plenty* resolution.
May 7, 2016 at 3:41 am #979945The little picture is the *exact* picture I uploaded, but not on WordPress.

In that case, please provide your admin and FTP login credentials in private reply. I like to trace out the generated images.
Thanks!

Would you mind providing the original image here as well? I like to try it on different installation on my end. Image processing is done by WordPress and not by the theme. It might be related to its current setup.
If it’s big, you can upload it on dropbox or any file hosting and provide the URL here.
Thanks!

May 8, 2016 at 5:26 am #980880Hey there,
I’m sorry but I couldn’t see the border (see attachment). What OS and browser are you using?
Thanks.
May 8, 2016 at 5:31 am #980882The border itself was fixed, but it’s VERY low-res looking. It’s VERY blocky, and looks like a bad edit job. If that makes sense.
May 8, 2016 at 5:34 am #980885This different image shows the border.
May 8, 2016 at 6:26 am #980926You’re original image (see attachment) has jagged edges. Also, the white border is from the png file itself. I tested your images in a non-X non-Cornerstone test site and they’re still blocky or jagged.
Would you mind disabling all third party plugins and use the default WordPress theme to test?
Thanks.
May 8, 2016 at 8:44 am #981007I know it has jagged edges, but it’s *not* from the file, as the very file I sent you is the one that I uploaded, and the one of which I screenshot, very clearly showing no aliasing of any kind. I’ll disable the plugins and see if it changes, but I don’t know what it could be that would do that.
Also, on a sidenote:
How do I make elements/rows/etc. breakdown in certain ways on mobile? I want the picture of the person above their title in each, and for the right-aligned pics, they go on the bottom. I’m sure there’s a way I can specify the hierarchy, right? Thanks!
May 8, 2016 at 9:32 am #981048I uploaded the image you’ve attached in my X and Cornerstone test site and there’s no problem. This leads me to conclude that there’s something in your site that is causing this. Please clear all cache and disable all third party plugins. There is also no function in X nor Cornerstone that’ll cause this.
For the hierarchy, there is no option to change it. The solution would be to create a section or row that is set to display only in mobile and hide the desktop version using the Hide Based on Screen Width feature. See https://cloudup.com/cem93IyIecW (play in Firefox).
Thanks.
