I voted for the custom functionality and having more tools at my disposal. I’m not a web-designer. For me it is already difficult enough to figure it out.

October 5, 2015 at 7:36 pm #612243I’d certainly add Yoast SEO and an image optimizer – but I would like to see better integration with a mail client – so inquiries and responses can be managed right from dashboard with no additional client restructuring.
October 5, 2015 at 8:05 pm #612273Kind’ve hard to choose between custom or integration. Custom X and integration together would be nice – mix it up 🙂
For those of us always building stores:
More functionality with woocommerce such as store locators, vendors pages, & pricing schemes as well as registration/profiles/subscriptions/memberships + properly integrated recaptcha. On a custom X note:
1. I agree with folks above – a nice front-end drag & drop customer oriented gallery builder.
2. Secondary Top Nav option built inGreat work everyone!

October 5, 2015 at 8:36 pm #612302Thanks guys for an “Awesome” theme and 1st class support.
These are the reasons why I’ll be a committed long term customer.I love what you’ve done with Cornerstone and enjoy using it. Well done!
Here are my 3 3rd Party Plugins suggestions.
1 – I would love deeper integration with Gravity Forms, particularly from a styling perspective.
2 – IThemes plugin suite. In particular, “Exchange” and “IThemes Security Pro”
3 – SEO – Caching – Yoast
Even though I “really” like what you guys have done with Cornerstone, I miss some of the design and styling options that were provided by Visual Composer.
Keep up the “Spiffy Bodacious” work 🙂
October 5, 2015 at 8:54 pm #612321My main three concerns with any WordPress Site: 1) Security, Performance, SEO.
Security is definitely the most important, and probably the least emphasized function of WordPress. I have four plugins on each site just to control the massive spam/brute force/vulnerability. I think a theme that can produce an all in one security solution that is either integrated or custom is going to win over mass customers. If you don’t think you are vulnerable to security breaches, your probably not using the right tools, or know how to use them to see what is really going on with your traffic. Using this many plugins is effective but does effect performance greatly.
SEO is one of those important things that is really good on its own. I don’t see any value in getting involved with 3rd party SEO plugins because there isn’t much room for improvement while expending a lot of resources.
Eye candy is always great, however, I do not see any themes on the market touting as having superior security integration. This is a market that very open right now. The organization who can pull it off in their themes will see massive returns on their sales.
October 5, 2015 at 9:05 pm #612329buddy press, s2member.
October 5, 2015 at 9:49 pm #612371gallery builder please… i love cornerstone but there is no gallery (lightbox) … thanks
October 5, 2015 at 10:12 pm #612384I agree 100% with lightbox integration, with the ability to style it via the customizer sidebar, eg display title?, max width/height, navigation/close button options, background overlay color options, etc.
While I’m on the subject of color options in customizer, if we had the ability to define transparency levels when setting theme colors, I could remove a ton of custom CSS bloat.
I’m also 100% on board with Uber Menu demo integration scripts for those of us that are in awe of its capabilities.
Thanks for asking our opinions.
October 5, 2015 at 11:33 pm #612468I think the first question is a little bit tricky – not so specific. I prefer additional integrations with third party plugins especially with woocommerce, bbpress and buddypress extensions and s2member. You could also create some custom functionality developed by you to enhance bbpress, woocommerce and buddypress.
also ivestigate the possibility to make an integration with an LMS plugin. I am not so familiar with that space so I can’t recommend a plugin.
Thank you!!

October 6, 2015 at 12:33 am #612519It would be fantastic to include “hover over” text effects on images in the future. A lot of clients are asking for this design feature. And ff this was a built-in Theme X feature, I could SO MUCH use out of it (& save lots of time!).
October 6, 2015 at 2:34 am #612633It would be very helpful to integrate closely with an optional lightbox plugin with good usability and more flexibility in terms of configuration. The usability of the one that comes with X is not the best (controls in the corner of the screen and not near the image, for instance).
And it would be nice to have a decent calender that works well with X. Events Manager by Marcus Sykes is a good one.
October 6, 2015 at 3:43 am #612705Flexibility is my watchword, so I would like to be able to use more integrations without being too tied in with the big players as you call them, and ability to use my builder of preference. Keep up the great work guys…
October 6, 2015 at 4:04 am #612744+1 – I would love the ability to easily style my gravity forms from conerstone, instead of CSS
2. I am surprised nobody has mentioned one of the top gallery builder/lightbox plugins Next Gen Gallery. It would be awesome to have this plugin’s functionality integrated so that I may see my galleries properly inside the cornerstone builder
3. Animated live icons! Just adds that extra pizzaz!
Other than that, your choice to integrate top plugins is a good one… Everything else I say try to better!
October 6, 2015 at 4:51 am #612829I’m new to WordPress and X so this thread is really great for someone like me who isn’t aware of what great plugins I really should be using. For example, all of my site’s content got a Yoast makeover today, how amazing is that plugin?
OK, down to business.
In the little time I’ve been using X there truly is a dire need for a good gallery + lightbox. I was kind of taken aback to discover there wasn’t one out of the box after spending my hard earned cash on X. I think this hole really needs to be plugged ASAP because it’s long overdue by the sounds of it.
Next up is a good subscriptions plugin with mailchimp support. I’m lucky in that I’m guru at HTML/CSS so I had no problem getting my subscription form looking how I wanted it but not everybody can do that.
Lastly, because I like bells ‘n’ whistles, more hover FX power. Currently, there ain’t much scope to do visually impressive stuff on hover.
