Hi Guys,
First of all, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all you you!
I am working on a project and everything’s cool, except for one thing. Each time I activate Yoast SEO plugin, I get this error:
Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error. Warning: require_once(/home/iltgycqb/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/wp-seo-main.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/iltgycqb/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/wp-seo.php on line 47
I have tried to clone it on another server with the same PHP7 active, all good, no issues.
I have tried activating another theme, no luck.
I tired downgrading the PHP version to 5.6 to no avail.
I tried deactivating W3 Total Cache, no luck.
Could it be something else? Can you help me figure things out?
I’ll send you login and ftp details on a private message. Thanks!
Francis

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble. As it’s not an issue with theme or any of our plugin, can’t say much. But there might be some file missing on the plugin. So you can try installing a fresh copy. If you still face issue, you can directly reach to the plugin support.
Cheers!
December 30, 2016 at 2:15 am #1309613You’re right, Rupok. I tried uploading the plugin folder via FTP and all is good now.
There’s something about installing the Yoast SEO plugin via backend that causes incomplete downloading of files. Could be server-related as well. Anyway, it’s working now. Thanks!
