We want a blog that looks like this:

with a right-aligned sidebar, nice post/excerpt format, and links below each excerpt for commenting, linking, social media likes.The Blog (posts page) setup on Cornerstone will not allow a sidebar to be added, and the posts look pretty terrible. We can’t figure out how to edit the Blog pages at all, or how to create our own posts page not using the Blog template.
Also, we have tried to import our HTML email newsletters as posts, using MailChimp, but they’re ending up very distorted and screwy, too. We’d like those to be in the sidebar in a separate section from our normal posts.
If any of this would be helped by switching from Renew stack to Icon or something, we could do that but would prefer not to as it would be more work to several pages’ appearance.

We would like to help you with it however customizing blog template to a different version is outside the scope of our support. It would be best that you would contact a custom developer regarding this customization.
