    Hi,

When I try to link some of my pages to Pinterest using the X buttons I get the following error: Parameter ‘image_url’ (value http:) is not a valid URL format.

    How can I solve this?

    Many thanks,

    Jane

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.

    Hi,

I am using the X theme social media sharing buttons at the bottom of my pages. When I click the pinterest button to share the images on a page on pinterest I get the following error: Parameter ‘image_url’ (value http:) is not a valid URL format.

    Thanks

    Hi Jane,

It looks like you are not using a featured image in your page. That is the reason it’s giving invalid image URL error. You’ll either need to add a featured image to your page or you can add a fallback image under Social > Social Fallback Image in the Customizer.

    Thanks!
