    Hello, I have a shortcode I was attempting to place in my topnav file. It is a count down timer short code from a plugin call Countdown Timer. The issue is, my line of php code is commented out due to the fact that .nav files dont seem support .php code. Is there a work around for this already established?

    Thanks

    Hello There,

    Thanks for writing in! Upon inspection, all I see in your topbar content is this:

    <div class="x-section center-text bg-color x-nav-header" id="x-section-1"><div class="x-container max width " style="padding: 0px; margin: 0px auto; border-width: 1px; border-style: none; background-color: transparent;"><div class="x-column x-sm x-1-3" style="padding: 0px; border-width: 1px; border-style: none; background-color: transparent;"><div class="cs-preview-element-wrapper"><h2 class="h-custom-headline man h6" style="color: hsl(0, 0%, 100%); font-family:helvetica; font-weight:100; padding-top: 2px;"><span>Receive <span style="color:#67FFE8;"> $30 off</span> per box when you <span style="color:#67FFE8;">pre-order!</span></span></h2>
    </div></div><div class="x-column x-sm x-1-3" style="padding: 0px; border-width: 1px; border-style: none; background-color: transparent;"><div class="cs-preview-element-wrapper"><div class="x-text" style="color:white; font-size:16px;font-family:helvetica; font-weight:100; padding-top: 2px;"><p>ends <abbr title="May 10th, 2016, 12:00 am" id="x23498cfa83e396b16621fa6c0f4ee811" class="fergcorp_countdownTimer_event_time">in <span class="fergcorp_countdownTimer_day fergcorp_countdownTimer_timeUnit">10 days</span></abbr></p>
    </div>
    </div></div><div class="x-column x-sm x-1-3" style="padding: 0px; border-width: 1px; border-style: none; background-color: transparent;"><div class="cs-preview-element-wrapper"><h2 class="h-custom-headline couponbox h6" style="color: hsl(0, 0%, 100%); font-family:helvetica; font-weight:100; padding-top: 2px;"><span>Use Coupon code: <span style="color:#67FFE8;">Preorder30</span></span></h2>
    </div></div></div></div>

    Would you mind posting the Countdown shortcode or the PHP code? Please keep in mind that the Topbar content will only accept text and some html codes. By default, shortcodes and php codes will not work.

    Hope this helps. Please let us know.

    Hey, I have tried placing the php code into the topnav and it is automatically commented out. Attached I have an example, but the site is currently receiving traffic and do not want to place the php code in the header and it be blank. It seems by default it will not work like you said, is there anyway to have it all PHP in the topnav?

    Thanks
