Is xTheme, cornerstone and The Grid add-on plugin compatible with PHP 7.0? I ask because WPengine hosting is offering to upgrade to PHP 7.0. I want to consider it because it supposedly provides significant performance improvements to your wordpress site. I ran the compatibility checker but not sure how reliable it is. Checker says xTheme is compatbible but found the errors below for Cornderstone and The Grid. Not sure if you could speak to the Grid; if not can you direct me to their support? I could not find them on wordpress.org. Thanks!

Thanks for writing in! PHP preg_replace() seems to be deprecated since v5.5 and that seems to be the issue.

I have already submitted this information to our development team for further review and will update when we have more information.

FWIW we’ve migrated around 5 clients using wpengine to php7 so far this year, without issue. Whatever the issues flagged-up by the wpengine php checker, they don’t seem to affect the install.
