Hi,
It is obvious to me now that X does not have what I am looking for. I need a lightbox, album based, image gallery wherein the gallery/portfolio page shows a layout of featured images. Each image opens a lightbox of items in a gallery specific to that featured image. If I close the lightbox, i can open another featured image with associated gallery set… on and on.
What I am hoping is that one of you guys or girls, with all your experience, can offer a suggestion or two. I have been searching like crazy for something decently nice. I have found a couple, but nothing that I feel is nice enough (at least that isn’t part of someone else’s theme).
I’m pulling my hair out.
Any ideas?

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

For the meantime, there is a lightbox shortcode that you can use. Perhaps this could help you.
