bazzjazzParticipantHi – I have just purchased and installed your theme, but I have a problem with installing the required plugins from the control panel. I get the error message “Your WordPress file permissions do not allow plugins to be installed.”
I installed Cornerstone manually via FTP with no problems however. Also I would like to install demo content and I am also getting an error then also. I assume it is the same permissions problem.
Can you advise please?
regards,
Barry

RahulModeratorHi there,
Please try resetting your WordPress files and folders permissions. The correct settings can be found at http://www.smashingmagazine.com/2014/05/08/proper-wordpress-filesystem-permissions-ownerships/.
This should enable you to install plugins and demo content.
Let us know how it goes.

bazzjazzParticipantHi –
I ended up changing PHP to run in Fast CGI rather than Apache mode on the advise of my hosting company and that sorted it out for me.
Thanks for the help.
