    Hello,

    When choosing permalinks structure as page name or post name, it is converted to a big link with plenty of %%%%% when trying to share on twitter.

    I changed the structure to numeric.

    What can i do to solve this issue?

    Hi Tarek,

    It is usual because of the URL Encoding. Your URL should have alphanumeric characters and no special characters. So your language is being treated as special character thus converting to valid Unicode which looks like garbage.

    Hope this makes sense.

    Hello,

    This is a website which is using arabic language in the sturcture:
    https://www.alarabiya.net/ar/medicine-and-health/2017/01/30/7-نصائح-فعالة-للتخلص-من-الحموضة.html
    When you share the link it looks like this: http://ara.tv/6f3sh

    This is not using neither wordrpress nor the X-theme.

    Do you have a solution for this issue of permalinks for Arabic language?

    Hi Tarek,

    Thanks for writing back. It’s because they using their own URL shortener and they have their own short domain ara.tv for this. You can use a plugin like this – https://wordpress.org/plugins/shorten-url/ or use Google URL Shortener – https://goo.gl/
