    1)

I have tried every setting I can find to remove the delay between slides, without success. There is about 1.5 seconds delay between each slide. I want .5 second delay at most. Please see if you can identify what is causing the delays.

    2)

The slideshow stops playing and leaves a blank screen after a short time when the page is left open and the window is hidden. I have the general settings set to loop continuously, or so I think.

Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

I just made another relevant discovery about the problem of the slide show stopping (item 2 in my list).

When I open the home page on one monitor (I use 2 monitors) and I work on the other one, the slide show stops playing after the end of whatever slide is playing when I click away from it. Please note that “Stop slider out of viewport” is off.

Please look at my settings yourself – I have exhaustively gone through every one that I can find.

    Thanks.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for writing in!

Can you confirm that you are fully updated? (Theme and Plugins)

You can find the latest version numbers here: (https://theme.co/changelog/) Then you can compare them to what’s installed on your site.

If you find anything to be out of date, you can review our update guide.

    Thank you!

I seem to have solved both my problems, quite unexpectedly. This is what I did:

In the layers window at the bottom of the slide is a fade column, right under the play button.

I clicked this toggle switch once for each layer, and now there is always something on the screen, so no blank space can ever be left. The animated exit transitions I created for each layer now start at the dotted vertical line at the end of the timeline.

Hopefully this will be helpful to someone else. Thanks for your help.
