Has anyone succeeded in changing/slowing down the parallax effect? I find it pretty useless at the default scrolling speed.
I know this has been discussed before, but none of the custom code which was posted earlier works.

Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post.
