    I’d like to split my longer posts into multiple posts… I thought I could use the “read more” insert but using it does not display anything on the single post.

    If I want my users to read half, and then click on “read more” or the read the rest etc… how can I do that in X theme? I am using Renew, with cornerstone. My wordpress version is 4.4.2 and I am using a child theme for customizations.

    Thanks for posting in.

    You mean “read more” functionality within a single post? That’s not currently possible, it needs a split point. And ny split point can break the layout similar to <!--nextpage-->.

    Maybe it can be done with 3rd party plugin since it’s not part of WordPress standard.
