Hello dear Themeco team. I am currently on WordPress 4.5, running X The Theme 4.4.2, using the Integrity stack.
When I set my “Blog” page as my Posts Page (Settings > Writing on WP-Admin), the page changes its layout automatically. If I try to edit it without Cornerstone, I can’t see the “Page Attributes” box containing the options to define the Parent, Template and Order. If I try to edit it using Cornerstone, the editing interface doesn’t even load.
I would like to ask for your help to figure out why this happens and how to fix it.
I duplicated the page to illustrate what I mean:
Posts page:
http://looptimize.com.br/index.php/blog/Exact same page, but not set as a Posts page:
http://looptimize.com.br/index.php/blog-duplicate/Ideally, I would like the page to look like this one: http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/5/blog/, with minor customization that I think I could do on my own here (like keeping the upper menu the way it is now, removing “Blog” from the top, etc).
Can you please help me?
Thank you very much in advance!
April 22, 2016 at 11:09 pm #896224Hello There,
Thanks for writing in! When you assign a page as your Posts Page, all the contents will be ignored because the post items will be dynamically generated by WordPress. The layout of the blog page will also change especially if the theme has design a unique blog layout. In X, you have a choice to select the layout of your blog page. Simply go to your customizer, Appearance > Customize > Blog > Layout and select “Use Global Content Layout”. Assuming that your global content layout settings is “Content Left, Sidebar Right”.
Hope this helps.

As for the second thing I mentioned (wanting the blog to look exactly like http://theme.co/x/demo/integrity/5/blog/), is there an easy way to make that happen?
Thank you very much again =)!
April 24, 2016 at 11:40 am #897549Hi there,
Thanks for updating. That’s the default blog layout of Integrity. So if you are using the Integrity stack, you will get this layout on your blog page if you set Standard Layout form Customize > Blog.
Let us know if you still face any issue.
Cheers!
