I know that this topic has been brought up a few times but the solutions seem to be subscriber specific and I cannot identify the correct element.class to do this on our site.
I installed the X Theme last year when Visual Composer was the layout tool of choice. I now want to convert the site to Cornerstone layouts so that my client will be able to navigate the content herself, within her skill level. On that site, http://lindasdrapery.com/, I am using the Edit Page>>Page Settings>>Background Image(s) section to create a simple full screen background image/slideshow. The images are different on each page.
I have created a developmental site using Cornerstone layouts (actually, using Integrity #3 Demo) and as others have experienced, have a background color that is not allowing display of the background images.
Home page Cornerstone – http://lindasdev.com/
Non Cornerstone page – http://lindasdev.com/non-cornerstone/I am going to send you credentials privately. I need to know what theme configuration should be set, elements that need to be transparent and guidance on how to identify these when the stack/settings are changed. We have not decided on which stack we are going to use in production.
Thanks

You’re using blank page’s template, to reveal the background image please use none blank page template.
Thanks.
November 1, 2015 at 8:45 am #648261Are you referring to Edit Page>>Page Attributes>>Template selector? If so there is not a template named “none blank”. There are other choices that do not have “Blank” in their names. “Default Template” and four that begin with “Layout – … “. Using those other choices did not reveal the background images.
Please clarify
November 1, 2015 at 10:37 am #648321Hi there,
Sorry for the confusion. By none we actually meant the templates that doesn’t have any header/footer. The name should be like “Blank – No Container | No Header, No Footer”. See – http://prntscr.com/8xtte0
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

Tried each of the templates on the test page, http://lindasdev.com/non-cornerstone/, and the background images displayed with each iteration.Next step

Thanks for updating. I have checked your Page and noticed somehow you deleted the “background Image Duration” value – http://prntscr.com/8xvs1c
I have set it to the Home page and everything is fine. Let’s check yourself.
Hope this helps.
Cheers!

XNovember 1, 2015 at 10:35 pm #648754Hang on just a minute, I ran into same issue, I put a background image path for a page in cornerstone and even after saving the background image would not show up. I do not want to loose the header and footer but want a background image in the white page area between them. How do I do that ?

Please note that you can always set page background via Appearance > Customize > Layout and Design > Background Image | Background Pattern.
