I am not sure exactly how I did this:
I set a page as my home page. It allowed me to use the page title or x header landmark as an opportunity to display my value proposition. I would like to do this with all of the other pages. However, when I change the page title to a longer descriptive statement, it changes the link on the menu/nav bar. Is there a way to alter the page title without affecting how that linked page is displayed in the nav bar? Even when I alter the page title, I keep the permalink as the same as the nav bar.March 18, 2017 at 2:27 am #1411908Hello There,
Thanks for writing in! Instead of changing the page title, please make use of the alternate index title. You can find this in the Page Settings. Please check it out here: http://prntscr.com/eledb0 Adding an alternate title will replace the standard title on all index pages (i.e. blog, category archives, search, et cetera) with this one. To know more about Page Settings, please check out our knowledge base here: https://community.theme.co/kb/meta-options-pages/
Hope this helps.
March 21, 2017 at 9:10 am #1414942It seems as if it will replace all page titles. Is that true?
March 21, 2017 at 9:12 am #1414946Also, it does not seem to working. I still see the page title as the header landmark on the page. The copy I added to the alternate page index field is visually nowhere to be found on the preview page.

March 22, 2017 at 3:00 pm #1416717Hi There,
At the moment you have the footer menu selected, select the menu you want to change, and than click on the item/link so it opens and you can change the label.
Hope it helps
