HI,
I WANT TO ORGANIZE POSTS IN SECTIONS IN WORDPRESS WITH CORNERSTONE AND HAVE FOUND INSTRUCTIONS FOR DOING THIS. I FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS BUT WHEN I SHOULD DO THE STEP DESCRIBED BELOW, I AM NOT ABLE TO FIND THE MODULE CALLED “SECTION”. I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP WITH THIS! KINDEST REGARDS, JOHANNA
Before publishing the post as usual, there is one additional step. In the sidebar, there is a module called “Section” that contains a list of the sections (aka pages) on the site. As you may have already surmised, adding a post to a section is accomplished by selecting a section from this list.
Once you’ve done that, publish the post.

Thanks for posting in.
You can find the section in the Cornerstone Layout Tab:

July 31, 2015 at 4:31 pm #346663Hi,
Thank you for your answer.
Ok, I understand the procedures for creating pages and posts. But my question is regarding a problem that I have when I have created a post and before publishing it. As the instructions below says, there should be a module called “Section” in the sidebar that contains a list of the sections (aka pages) on the site. I am unable to find this in the sidebar and really need your help how to find this.
Kindest regards,

July 31, 2015 at 9:41 pm #346845Hello There,
Thanks for updating the thread!
We cannot see any module called “Sections” in our end. In our WP dashboard, we only have Post Format and Category just like as shown below:
Regretfully, at this time I am not entirely certain what it is you would like to accomplish based on the information given in your post. If you wouldn’t mind providing us with a little more clarification on what it is you’re wanting to do (a link to a similar example site would be very helpful, or perhaps some screenshots), we’ll be happy to provide you with a response once we have a better understanding of the situation.
Thank you.

Thank you for the clarification. Regretfully, you’ve got confused with Cornerstone plugin from ArchType and our very own Cornerstone plugin which is needed to run X. First of all, we are in no way NOT connected with ArchType and that we DO NOT use their plugin.
Please deactivate the ArchType cornerstone plugin and install our very own Cornerstone plugin instead. You can do so by going to X Addons > Extensions within you WordPress dashboard. For more details about our own Cornerstone plugin, you can check it out here: http://theme.co/blog/x-version-4-introducing-cornerstone/
Hope this explains everything. If there’s anything else, we can help you with, please let us know.

August 13, 2015 at 5:49 am #358151Hi, I have the same requirement, that is that I would like to be able to add posts to specific sections (Pages) of my site, currently in development with Themeco X and Cornerstone. See: http://fastboats.website
A Google turned up http://archetyped.com/know/how-to-organize-posts-in-sections-in-wordpress-with-cornerstone/ which looks like a genuine piece of advice. However am I to now understand that the Cornerstone function described is not one of yours but info put out by a 3rd party?
August 13, 2015 at 6:35 am #358196Hi there,
That plugin seems to be coming from a 3rd party source. Our Cornerstone plugin is a WordPress page builder: http://theme.co/cornerstone/
Thanks!
