    Hi there,

Can you please tell me the order that the theme loads plugins?

When attempting to edit a gravity forms entry the fields are ok while everything is loading however when the load of the dashboard page completes the fields spread across to the right over the sidebar. It seems that this is what is making the update button not work.

Here is a screen capture video to show what I mean (hopefully). https://www.dropbox.com/s/uhw2ccowc1k3z8r/2016-04-06_12-58-57.mp4?dl=0

After much investigating, I’m taking a wild guess that it relates to the last steps when X is loading a page?

This has happened before and I created a ticket however it righted itself with no explanation. I’ve tried deactivating all plugins except the Gravity Forms plugin and that hasn’t fixed it.

Do you have any ideas? The latest versions of all the plugins and the theme are installed.

    Regards

    Nerida

    Hi there Nerida,

    Thanks for writing in!

Unfortunately there is no specific order in which plugins are loaded, this is actually a core WordPress issue and is somethings that’s caused much debate over the years, you’ll see plugins which claim to let you edit the order of how plugins load, though they don’t work particularly well.

You’ll find more information about this and what functions are called on load here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Action_Reference#Actions_Run_During_a_Typical_Request

If you could supply us with your wp-admin login details and FTP details in a private reply please and I’d be happy to login and see what’s happening here. 🙂

    Thank you!
