But I have a problem, when I install the child theme, all pages of my website become completely white.. Is it a normal issue?
Thanks in advance
June 2, 2014 at 9:23 pm #51548Hey Louise,
That is unusual. First, please try our recommended settings in our Solutions to Potential Setup Issues in our Knowledge Base. If it still doesn’t work after that, please give us access to your WordPress admin and FTP.
Thanks.

thank you, i really appreciate your support.
June 4, 2014 at 4:23 am #52119Hi Louise,
I looked at your installation and the problem is that you’ve didn’t set the galleries the right way. You have to do following to add a new portfolio gallery: Go to the custom meta options and select Gallery as media type. Once you’ve done that click on Add Media and upload all the images you want to display and click “Insert into post” once they are inserted WordPress recognize them and adds them to the gallery you now can remove them from the content area and they still will stay in the gallery. Now if you want to remove one of them simply go to the add media tab again and delete the image completely.
Hope this helps!
June 4, 2014 at 8:12 am #52200I’m not sure to understand, how can turn this into gallery if it’s a portfolio’s page?
June 4, 2014 at 5:29 pm #52508Hi Louise,
Portfolio page does not initially setup for lightbox, so this customization only works on portfolio with no category. If you create a portfolio with category, it will pickup image from “ALL” filter and specific category, which makes them two.
The only way to fix this is fully customized the portfolio template. Like grouping your portfolio items by category class, and use that category class as lightbox selector. Though you might need to contact a developer to do this as this.
I added this on my feature request, but there is no definite time when can be implemented.
Thank you.
June 12, 2014 at 4:45 am #55449Ok for the category, i’ll try to find someone who could help to develop this.
And for the portfolio’s photos that appear twice in the lightbox, what can i do?
Thanks
June 12, 2014 at 4:53 pm #55695Hi Louise,
I just made some fixes here http://theme.co/x/member/forums/topic/best-approach-to-creating-a-gallery-of-images/#post-52998 related to Step #2 of other thread.
The fix will allow it to use for categories and doubled photos.
Cheers!
June 12, 2014 at 6:06 pm #55714I recently purchased the theme so it’s my first time here. But couldn’t pass on the opportunity to comment on this because it’s one of my most wanted features. The possibility to use ilightbox on the portfolio on selected images instead of opening them in their own “project” page. Glad to see support is adding it to their feature request and hope it will be implemented sooner rather than later.
Thanks!
