    Hi there,

    I was wondering if you could help me. I am trying to make a one page navigation website, and I understand how to create the content band IDs and also the menus – everything is working fine with the structure and getting there slowly but surely.

    However, I am having issues with the Revolution sliders that I have created. I have one at the very top which does not want to move across from image to image and is stuck on the first one. It also throws up some weird script at the top of the page, which when I delete this content band code from my one page navigation page does seem to go away. I also have a revolution slider in the middle of the website further down, which also does not want to move and is stuck on the first slide.

    I know there were some considerations to make on the One Page Navigation Set Up page in your Knowledge Base, but I am not using a full page slider. The homepage slider is a full width slider, does this also cause issues? If so I am wondering what I can do to stop these glitches from happening.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for updating! Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    Don’t forget to select Set as private reply. This ensures your information is only visible to our staff.

    Meantime you can disable the Revolution Slider plugin and see if the code disappears or not. Let us know.

    Hello There,

    Thanks for the updates. The code that is showing is coming from Open Graph meta. We have turn it off in your customizer, Appearance > Customize > Social > Open Graph > Enable Open Graph . Please install Yoast SEO plugin to easily manage your Open Graph meta.

    May we ask how you build the page, did you use Visual Composer or you have code it manually?

    Thanks so much for getting back to me. I have no experience of Open Graph meta so this is news to me. I have always in the past used Visual Composer as packaged in your bundled plugins. I have never seen this type of code appearing apart from now when I have tried to make a one page navigation. I followed your documentation on one site navigation to the letter in this document.

    I created a new page as instructed, copied the code from each content band from Inspect Element (similar to Firebug) and then pasted each content band code into the new page, called ‘One Page Website.’ I then went back into the code and named each content band with numbers in ascending order. Then created menus with the respective content band codes as the document stated. Everything is working fine under these instructions.

    The document did not mention that Open Graph codes might appear as a consequence of making a one page navigation system this way, has this happened in your experience before? It also mentioned that Revolution Slider might act up if used – but only if full page. My rev sliders are not full page – the top one is full width and the one in the middle is a different shape in the middle of the screen.

    I am worried the sliders are not working. Is there any way to fix these? Why would they not be working when all I have done is take the content band codes and add them directly into the site page?

    If you look at the code on the ‘One Page Website’ page as mentioned before it might help.

    Perhaps you can see an error in there? I have noticed there is a LOT more code when it comes to the sliders. I also didnt know you could build the new webpage using Visual Composer.

    Hi Jayd,

    This is where the problem is

    I created a new page as instructed, copied the code from each content band from Inspect Element (similar to Firebug) and then pasted each content band code into the new page, called ‘One Page Website.’ I then went back into the code and named each content band with numbers in ascending order. Then created menus with the respective content band codes as the document stated. Everything is working fine under these instructions.

    You can’t do this as the code on the inspect element does not conforms on VC code structure and it has lots of unnecessary code.

    You need to create your page using VC or cornerstone for this to work.

    Hi Jayd,

    The content band ids are automatically generated in your page in ascending order. No need to add them.
    So if you have two content bands in your page it will have an id of x-content-band-1 and x-content-band-2

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your reply but this still does not make sense.
    The documentation states that I need to provide the content band ID to the menu, in order to make it jump to each relevant content band. I now cannot see the content band numbers to know which ones to assign them to after making them in VC.

    I have gone into the menus and instead guessed the content band numbers as there didnt seem to be a way I could physically look at them in the code. Is this the way to do it? The documentation doesnt tell you where to look in most cases to find the data you need.
