I was wondering if there was an easy way to implement such functionality like this example from a bootstrap extension plugin into X-Theme. (https://jasny.github.io/bootstrap/examples/navmenu-push/) I am currently using the renew theme.

You can try to use a plugin. There might be a WordPress Off canvas menu plugin available.

Regretfully this isn’t a feature offered by X. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. X is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities. Is it possible to incorporate icons sidebar into renew’s theme? I like the look of renew, but i like the way the sidebar is in icon. Like this sidebar bar in particular (http://theme.co/x/demo/icon/1/)
