FlightwaveParticipantHi there,
URL / Login creds to follow.
Originally we had a “web design” firm developing our site on the X platform.
They were terrible – so we took it over ourselves.Question: the woocommerce cart icon in the navbar does not show the number of items in the cart.
It could be because of something the design firm added in the custom.css file that is in the child theme folder, or the function.php file. I’m not sure exactly what they did. Can you help me return the cart to it’s normal appearance – how it originally comes with X – where it shows the number of items in the cart? Also – while I’m at it – are there any other options for the way the cart is displayed? Or is it just the one cart that we have on our site?
Thanks!

RupokMemberHi there,
As per your other thread, looks like the templates was changed, so there is no guarantee if anything doesn’t work properly. I’d suggest to use a fresh copy of X.
Cheers!

FlightwaveParticipantThis is not helpful.
At all.
Do you have any helpful suggestions to offer?February 21, 2017 at 12:02 pm #1380153
RupokMemberHi there,
Can you confirm you are using a fresh copy of X that’s not modified? If you are changing the theme files then can’t help much on this as it’s not recommended.
Hope this makes sense.

JoaoModeratorHi There,
Let´s try to remove X and re-install it manually.
1. Revoke your purchase code from X Addons section (check the bottom of the page) and also remove it from your license page on Themeco.
https://community.theme.co/my-licenses/
2. Temporary disable any caching plugins and purge all your server cache.
3. Delete both X theme (/wp-content/themes/x) and Cornerstone plugin (/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone) by connecting to your FTP (your settings will be saved in the database)
4. Download the latest copy of X and upload it to your themes folder via FTP OR you can upload the x.zip via Appearance -> Themes section.
5. Latest version of Cornerstone will be installed automatically when you head over X Addons section. Now you try validating your X theme again and then try to install any other extension and it should function properly.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks! -
