I have a contact page that had a default ninja form on it, I created a new one and changed the shortcode to my forms ID… but now none of the forms will load, not an old one or my new one.
The page is hawaiiyogafest.com/contactus

June 24, 2016 at 2:26 pm #1058437Hi,
I updated but this didn’t solve my problem
June 24, 2016 at 6:32 pm #1058644Hi there,
Please try to add the shortcode in a Raw content element.
I have tested it in this page and it is showing the form correctly.
June 30, 2016 at 3:00 pm #1067237I have not been able to replicate this solution.
The test page Jade created used ninja forms default [ninja_form id=1]
When i replaced that with the form I built: [ninja_form id=3], it didn’t work. When I replace it with “id=1” it works.
This “form test” was created on my test site: Hawaiiyogafest.com
When the solution is tried on my Live site: Hawaiiyogafestival.com, The solution doesn’t work – no matter which form ID i use.
Please help me by testing the implementation of forms on this specific page: Hawaiiyogafestival.com/contact
I am also contacting Ninja Forms, but I could use a reply ASAP with any sort of fix.
June 30, 2016 at 10:19 pm #1067853Hi there,
This is the actual error,
nfForms is not defined /wp-content/plugins/ninja-forms/assets/js/min/front-end.js?ver=4.5.3
This means that Ninja Forms library isn’t fully integrated to the cornerstone. It should be integrated as Cornerstone element similar to Rev. Slider, Gravity Form, and more.
Thanks!
July 1, 2016 at 3:14 pm #1068800I’m not sure what you mean Rad… or how to solve this. Can you explain?
I also have contacted Ninja Forms and they have reported back a Javascript error “Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘get’ of undefined”. They are going to look over my site and hopefully solve the error.
Possibly they are related. I have them looking it over, but I’d appreciate any input you can give me as to why Ninja Forms isn’t integrated.
I did post another problem i had where ninja forms had randomly been deleted from my plugins. I was told to download the plugin from ninja forms website and reinstall. I did that and the plugin became available again… However, I was having this problem – with forms not loading – both before and after the plugin suddenly deleted. Could the lack of integration be because I had to reinstall the plugin?
July 1, 2016 at 9:09 pm #1069172Hi there,
If their forms load libraries and stylesheet, then it should be integrated first. If it’s just standard form with no effects and javascript functionality, then no need for integration.
Please check these, https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-custom-elements/ , https://community.theme.co/kb/cornerstone-plugin-integration/
Thanks!
July 5, 2016 at 3:04 pm #1073556This plugin is included with your theme, not some custom element or third party plugin… why on earth would i need to integrate or not integrate something that is a part of your theme? This should work right out of the box but it isn’t, so why is your theme not performing as advertised?
I have no idea what it loads or not. Your own templates like “agency” generate pages that use this plugin and it worked for that, but when I made my own form it didn’t work.
I’ve run into a lot of issues using this theme and you’ve all been helpful to get them sorted out, however this is issue on going and for way too long. I need these forms to work ASAP, they are an integral part of my website. If this functionality cannot be fixed, then why did I pay for a broken theme that isn’t performing as advertised?
July 5, 2016 at 3:20 pm #1073581Hi There,
Ninja Forms is not bundled with X Theme.
We do use Contact Form 7 on our Agency Demo and on every other demo that contains any contact form.
Why don´t you try using Contact form instead, is there any specific reason you are using Ninja Forms?
Let us know more details so we can help you.
Joao
July 5, 2016 at 4:28 pm #1073686What are you talking about “Ninja Forms is not bundled with X Theme”?
I bought this theme from Envato. I installed it on a new server, that I’ve never used before (meaning no previous plugins were installed), and when I clicked on the “forms” icon in the admin area it opened up ninja forms plugin. So, yea.. it was bundled with this theme.
At no time, in no way, has there been anything in my plugins, in my zip file that came with my theme, or anything… that has said “contact form 7”.
Infact, I am so unaware of the Form Plugins available for wordpress that I couldn’t even have had the knowledge to know to download ninja forms or contact form 7. If contact form 7 is included in this theme, as you suggest… I would like instructions on how to find it/activate it. But since I have never seen any option in my plugins section, or in the “extensions” folder that came in my themes ZIP folder, I’m going to stand by my statement that it was never included in my X theme build – and Ninja forms WAS included.
July 5, 2016 at 7:02 pm #1073856Hi there,
Thanks for updating the thread! Did you install WordPress manually or was it via a on click script from your host? I am assuming it was the latter as we don’t have any bundled integration with :Ninja Forms” You can see our extensions on this page:
Likewise, if you go into your Dashboard > X Addons > Home, it will list all our extensions and approved plugins.
If you are seeing ninja forms, it’s most likely your hosting option has bundled it with their automated WordPress install. Our support for 3rd Party Plugins other than the ones we have approved and integrate is extremely limited as we aren’t the best support for that. It would be best to contact the original developer, use another plugin or engage a developer for a custom solution.
You can check out our recommended partners: https://theme.co/x/member/custom-development/
Hope this helps – thanks!
July 5, 2016 at 7:10 pm #1073859I did do an automated install with godaddy, but i dont remember seeing anything that spoke about them installing plugins for me (but that doesn’t mean that they didn’t). This does seem like it could be the reason I have Ninja Form though… so thank you for putting a rest to that debate.
My question now is, if you use Contact Form 7 for the “agency” demo, as Joao said, does that come bundled with X theme? I dont see it listed on the page of extensions you included. If you do include it, I’m afraid that Ninja Forms some how took hold of my forms option. If you don’t include it… then how does “Agency” use it?!
July 6, 2016 at 1:39 am #1074246Hi,
Contact Form 7 doesn’t come bundled with the theme but we do support it.
