This seems to be a fairly common problem, but I can’t seem to fix it. Today I published this post:

    http://localhistoryisawesome.co.uk/sidmouth-awesome-local-history/

It hasn’t appeared on my front page, or my slider.

If I change the categories it’s posted under to All Articles and Oxfordshire (rather than Devon), this happens:

    Error

It looks like the preview that would normally appear on the slider, which has instead just appeared on the front page awkwardly. It’s worth noting that this is my first post not to be posted under the category of Oxfordshire.

This obviously looks like an error, which seems oddly linked to a change of categories. Can you please help?

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in! I am bit confused and didn’t quite get the issue. Would you kindly clarify a bit more? Also provide us your login credentials so that we could have a look inside.

    Cheers!

    Hi there,

The Ethos post carousel, slider blog, and homepage filterable index are displayed according to some option which can be set in the customizer. Kindly check on Appearance > Customize > Ethos to adjust these settings. Currently, what’s set for the post slider is the most commented posts which might be why the new post you have added isn’t displayed.

    Ah, that’s embarrassingly simple!

    Many thanks guys.
