Hi,
It appears as though this section of code is causing an extra band to appear which has the page title and some breadcrumbs but I don’t want that to be on the page. Is there a way to create pages without including this section?

Hi,

The band is called breadcrumbs and you can disable it under Appearance > Customize > Header > MISCELLANEOUS > Breadcrumbs
