robotpantsParticipantI noticed by the way of using Slack that the latest update is inserting unwanted metadata into the info OpenGraph pulls from when linking.
Previously, apps like Facebook or Slack would pull clean info but now it’s added extra text: [cs_content][/cs_content]…
Screenshots in follow up post.

Rue NelModeratorHello There,
Thanks for writing in! This is not the a bug. The metadata will be looking for the excerpts of the page. I would suggest you install Yoast SEO plugin and edit each of your pages. You need to insert your page title, keywords and page description so that this issue can easily be resolve.
Please let us know how it goes.

robotpantsParticipantSo Yoast works but not as well. Images are smaller, etc. Was there ever a resolution to this? It worked great before that update.

JackKeymasterHi there,
Thanks for writing back! As this is OpenGraph related, you could use a specific OpenGraph plugin like this https://wordpress.org/plugins/opengraph/ rather than Yoast. That will allow you to set your images and content. 🙂
Thanks!
